Team Rio Grande

The no-parking signs are in place, the prizes are sorted, and the town is ready.  The Inaugural Prospect Criterium is scheduled for tomorrow, August 9th and we have some exciting announcements to make…

• Our original prize list has been blown out of the water.  Starting with an estimated $10,000 in merchandise, we have now INCREASED the prize list to over $15,000 in merchandise and CASH!  Thanks to our generous sponsors listed at the end of this post!

• Do you like Vic’s??  As the co-presenting sponsor, Vic’s Espresso is going to have FREE DRINK PRIMES for EVERY OTHER LAP in the SM1/2 and SW1/2/3 race!  We estimate that’ll add up to almost 120 free drinks handed out during these 2 races combined.  Whitey (part owner of the Prospect Vic’s) kept saying, “Ya, that’ll get a buzz going…”  We eventually had to point out the double meaning for him – too much race planning makes for a tired mind.
